Koless
Nottingham, UK 2017
Koless is modular 'wardrobe' aimed specifically at renters. This was a project untertaken during my undergraduate Product Design degree at Nottingham Trent University.
Koless features a thoughtfully designed modular configuration, enabling users to customise and arrange shelves, rails, and various storage options to suit their specific needs. The panels and poles were crafted from sustainably sourced ash, ensuring both durability and eco-friendliness. Connected components were 3D-printed and cleaned before silicon moulds are created from the prints. The final components are then cast using pigmented fast-cast resin.
My Role Designer, Technical Designer & Maker
The Project
I carefully designed a modular, adaptable wardrobe that is not only lightweight and versatile but is also built to evolve seamlessly with your changing needs over time. Aimed specifically at renters who often move from one location to another, this innovative solution significantly helps eliminate the waste and frustration of discarding furniture that no longer fits in a new space or environment.
