The Project

In this six-week project, I led the technical design, manufacturing process, material selection, shipping, logistics, and production management. Each unit was designed for efficient handoff to fabricators, complete with detailed packs, materials lists, and cut files, enabling internal teams to replicate the units seamlessly.

Constructed from mild steel SHS, the frames feature minimal external welds and no internal welds for clean lines throughout. The curved overhanging front was achieved by forming and folding a series of 3mm laser-cut steel sheets. Concealed fixings with rivet nuts, weld nuts, and tapped screws enhance the unit’s aesthetic, finished with a high-end, two-tone spray finish.
